Suzuki Hub

Kate, Ella and Rick started Suzuki Hub in 2011. It’s a family affair - Kate and Ella are married, and Rick is Kate’s brother. Having grown up doing Suzuki lessons, Kate and Rick became Suzuki teachers in their early twenties. Ten years later, Suzuki Hub was an idea on the back of an envelope. Twelve years later still it is a thriving music school with 170 students, 20 teachers, and millions of beautiful notes being played every year on violin, viola, cello, trumpet and flute. We believe every child can become a talented musician, and that is exactly what we are helping the kids of Hackney to become. Rick now lives in Brazil and teaches online, and Ella is training to be a psychotherapist. Kate continues to steer the Suzuki Hub ship and although Rick and Ella are not in the building much anymore, they are very much still involved. Find out more about Kate.

Suzuki Hub is very near Haggerston overground, Hackney Road and Kingsland Road buses are a short walk away, and Old Street, Liverpool Street and Bethnal Green tube stations are a short bus ride away. Click here for more information on our location.
